Fair Isle Pattern

Fair lsle Pattern at Caledonia Lifestyle

Fair Isle pattern originates and is named after the small and remote Fair Isle located between Orkney and Shetland in the North of Scotland. Fair Isle knitwear became popular in the early 20th century when the then Prince of Wales, later to become Edward VIII wore Fair Isle jerseys in public in 1921. Our Fair Isle accessories are knitted in the heart of the Scottish Borders by Gilbert Wilson.
